We realize all kinds of wood carpentry, either for new constructions or for renovations.
We favour local woods (larch, spruce) and we also use carefully selected old wood.
The whole fabrication process takes place in-house:
Design |
our computerized design department prepares all cutting bills, installation plans and design notes.
Wood harvesting |
we purchase the wood as stumpage. The trees are cut down during sap-free periods, in autumn or in spring. Our sawmill production tools allow us to obtain large dimension timber, reducing the need for extensions.
Shaping |
the wood is then brought to shape in our carpentry workshop, without any subcontracting. Each element is test-assembled and numbered.
Treatment |
all our wood is treated against insects and fungi.
Assembly |
on-site installation is performed by our assemblers' teams. Our lifting crames help us reduce works duration. Each element is oak-pegged.
Finish |
planed or brushed rustic appearance |
For high altitude construction, we perfectly manage the double-roof technique with high-performance insulation recommended for mountain climate (rock wool, wood liber). All waterproofing elements (PVC or bitumen) are soldered, according to French DTU mountain climate regulations which apply at altitudes over 900 metres.
Whether for traditional carpentry work, a wood frame chalet, a canopy, a lean-to roof or a car shelter, we are at your disposal for information and for a free estimate..
